CONCEPT

RSPS is a small Roman production house, mainly focused on comedies.
The brand offers the famous Spanish Steps, financed in the 1820s, with a modern, contemporary look, both in shapes and colors.

The Steps has been the scenography of many famous films, from “Roman Holiday” to “We all loved each other so much”, “I soliti ignoti”, “Angels and Demons” and many others.

I created a fresh, dynamic, modern and elegant animation.
I play with the yellow bands moving horizontally across the screen, from left to right, until the naming is rising from below: ROMA PIAZZA DI SPAGNA PRODUCTION.
A place where thoughts are lighter.

The yellow stripes represent all stories happening on the Steps, as many as we can imagine.
Sound design shapes a virtual noisy walk through the City: traffic, people talking loudly, the “caciara romana”. But in the end it all fades out to a happy whistle whose echoes loose in Roman alleys.

COLORS
Yellow represents light, sun, warmth, joy, happiness and lightness, all very typical of the Eternal City.
Secondary color is a blu/green nuance found in the square element, as it fits very well with yellow.
