NAMING
First logo naming proposal was Mutual Enterprises, then client made up his mind to end up with Hygeia, Mutual Health.
Hygeia is a character from Greek mythology, later reprised by Roman culture; this name means Health, Remedy.
PROPOSAL #1
PROPOSAL #1A AND CONCEPT
In this first creative approach, I opted for Hippocrates green cross. Hippocrates is known as the father of medicine science, and the entire medics staff swear in his principles. The two crosses sum up to enforce the naming as:
MUTUAL: mutual participation;
ENTERPRISE: structured economic activity
in producing or exchanging goods or services
The final two crosses join in a HUG, as per:
• reciprocity
• interchange
• assistance
PROPOSAL #2
In this second visual I prepared a graphic version of DANDELION (TARASSACO in Italian language). It’s a medical plant whose benefits are well known since ancient times: taraxakos is the Greek definition for “I cure”.
Dandelion is used to purify human liver, soome digestive issues and cirrhosis.
Three variations for my proposal: one with an arrow, representing motion towards future development.
