CONCEPT
It’s been great fun working on visual subjects for the ESAShop, expecially the Solar System Series on T-Shirt, sweatshirt, breakfast cups, bags and mobile covers.
Each planet is represented by its peculiarity:
Mercury: highest surface temperature degrees, due to Sun’s proximity
Jupiter: clouds/stains/69 satellites, 4 of which very important
Saturn: yellowish/rings/storms and vortexes/62 satellites
Uranus: green-light blue/smooth surface/11 rings/15 satellites
Neptune: Uranus twin/light blue/thin rings/14 satellites, with Triton being the most important/clouds/vortexes
Venus: clouds/beauty/shiny
Mars: so-called “The Red Planet”, because the reddish iron oxyde prevalent on its surface/craters/Mars has 2 moons
Earth: Earth’s gravity interacts with other objects in space, especially the Sun and the Moon, Earth’s only natural satellite.
Neptune: Uranus twin/light blue/thin rings/14 satellites, with Triton being the most important/clouds/vortexes
Venus: clouds/beauty/shiny

Scientists team checked all of this visual characteristics before printing planets.
