CONCEPT
BeWater is a NEW MEDIA company.
Listening to podcasts in Italy has literally exploded.
It is about the development of a new language to hang up kids via social media and bring knowledge back to the center: edu-telling // education + entertainment.
The four interviewed people are rendered graphically with a Duotone image treatment, using contrast and bright colours. In my graphic proposal I used the Decima font: a condensed geometric San Serif, built in three weights and six styles.
The shapes of the Roman-style letters are techno in appearance, while the italics are reminiscent of calligraphy (which is evident in the lowercase g, y, z whose rings are reminiscent of true italics).
The intention was to create a typeface with a modern but soft look.
The customer then decided to change it to a more “anonymous” character, waiting for the company to have its own specific brand.
